The problem
Landlords who collect rent through apps wait days for the money to reach the bank. Tenants pay, but the payout can take up to 10 days, the bank draft takes 5 or more business days, and one landlord was still waiting for Zillow rent on the 9th with the app showing only Pending. Landlords say they never know when the money will arrive, while their own bills are due.
