The problem
Tenants send repair requests through a portal and then hear nothing. Requests are closed with no action, marked resolved while the AC is still broken, or go two weeks with no reply after a follow-up email. Residents say management rarely gives timelines. Tenants of TurboTenant, Happy and other portals say they never get a text or email from maintenance, and one calls the app a nightmare for maintenance.
Who it's for
Small property managers whose tenants report repairs through a portal
What people are saying
Over all, I do like it for being able to put maintenance requests.
I have NEVER received any text messages or emails from any maintenance staff.

I'm not sure about the maintenance reporting as our landlord doesn't use it because they say they don't get notifications for them.

My requests are getting closed without an action on them.
- Portal plumbing request, two weeks, no reply reddit
followed up once by email and still no response.
- Broken AC requests marked resolved in the portal reddit
Each time we made each of our three maintenance requests through our designated resident portal, it was marked as "resolved".
- Residents get no repair timelines reddit
It's that management rarely provides meaningful timelines or transparent updates.
